Liz Dodgson

Elizabeth has had a lifelong interest in human movement and sport, and has had a successful career in Personnel Management. At various times Liz has taught ballet, tap dancing, trampolining, diving, karate, kayaking and running. In 1999 the world of Alexander Technique proved too hard to resist and she trained as a teacher at the Constructive Teaching Centre in Holland Park with Walter and Dillys Carrington.

Liz has a full time practice teaching the Alexander Technique in Chiswick. She organizes regular workshops applying the Alexander principles to Running, Cycling and Swimming in London and Skiing in France and Switzerland.

Liz’s international experience includes Alexander workshops in Switzerland and as a guest teacher at the Conservatoire for Musicians in Lausanne, Switzerland teaching in both French and English.

The realization that vision has a great part to play in performance and `use of the self` led Elizabeth to organize some workshops for her Alexander students with Brigitte Cavadias and then to go on a train as a Bates Method teacher with Brigitte in 2012.
